Tutorials
Increase your knowledge of Inventor by following the Interactive Tutorials and the Standard Tutorials.
Click on the “New” icon on the quick access toolbar or use command NEW.The drawing template window will open. 
You can now open your drawing with this template simply by double-clicking on the My template file on the desktop. Opening drawing with no templatesIf you don’t want to use any preinstalled or custom template to start your drawing and instead want to open the drawing with the blank properties then there is an option for that too. The template will be saved on the desktop with dwt file extension. For this example, I will select desktop as the template location and name it as “My Template”.Now click on save and click OK when description box prompts.
Interactive Tutorials
Download additional Interactive Inventor 2015 tutorials here. This exciting learning environment runs inside the Inventor application and leads you through tutorials in a side panel with step by step video, supporting text and model files, and in-canvas visual clues linked to the text.
After you install the new tutorials, they appear in the Interactive Tutorial list the Get Started tab > Videos and Tutorials panel (TIP: If the Videos and Tutorials panel is not visible, select the Show Panels drop-down arrow and select Videos and Tutorials)
Be sure to activate the Interactive Tutorials project file before using the tutorials.
